Director of ACT member Christian Aid sees aftermath of tsunami in India
Dr. Daleep Mukarji, the director of U.K.-based Christian Aid, a member of Action by Churches Together (ACT) International, was recently accompanied to the south Indian village of Kovalam by its partner, the Women's Collective, to see for himself the damage caused by the tsunami.
Partners in action
Dr. Mukarji emphasises that relief supplies must be distributed in a properly organised way, and helps ACT member Churches Auxiliary for Social Action (CASA) to hand out emergency food parcels to villagers.

Targetting those in need
Visiting the village of Nemeli Kuppam, Dr. Mukarji entrusts village leader Raj Kumar with making sure relief aid is given out fairly, especially to the very young, very old, and the sick.
