Balance Requested from ACT Alliance: US$ 1,661,036

This is a revision of the AFDC61 Appeal, originally launched in March 2006. The Appeal is being revised to incorporate ACT members: Bureau Oceumnenique d’Appui au Developpement – BOAD, Eglise du Christ au Congo North Kivu –in Goma, Eglise du Christ au Congo South Kivu, Eglise du Christ au Congo ECC Maniema Provincial Secretariat and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Congo, Kivu Maniema diocese (EELC Kivu Maniema). The ACT members in the DRC are planning to provide internally displaced persons with household kits, medical supplies, hygiene kits and continue working to strengthen capacities to respond to emerging emergencies in affected areas where they have a presence.

The revision does not affect the other ACT member, the Lutheran World Federation, in the Appeal and therefore no changes have been made to the proposal in the original Appeal.
